About the job

The Adullam Foundation is a leading institution for geriatric medicine, therapy, and care in Northwestern Switzerland. It operates a hospital and an affiliated care center each in Basel and Riehen. The approximately 800 employees provide elderly people with a regionally unique comprehensive care service from acute medicine through rehabilitation to transitional and long-term care. Holistic care at Adullam includes a high quality standard, lived humanity, and great respect for old age.

For the newly structured care centers division, we are looking for an entrepreneurial and inspiring personality with strong leadership and professional qualifications as a member of the executive board.

You take responsibility for the professional, organizational, and economic management of our care centers. In doing so, you ensure excellent care quality and develop sustainable, innovative concepts that promote the quality of life of our residents and strengthen the working environment for employees. In addition, as a member of the executive board, you take an active and shaping role in the strategic management of the Adullam Foundation. You promote cooperative collaboration with all business areas, make result- and solution-oriented decisions, provide impulses for innovation, and share responsibility for the further development, future orientation, and long-term success of the organization.

Your Tasks

Strategic and operational management of the care centers at the two locations Basel and Riehen

Leadership and further development of the teams and the organization considering social, political, and economic framework conditions

Business management responsibility of the business area (budget, target achievement, capacity utilization, investment planning) as well as design and participation in contract management and service offerings

Contact person for our residents and their relatives

Representation of the institution towards authorities, relatives, professional associations, and the public, as well as maintaining relevant networks from the healthcare sector

Your Profile

You hold the federal diploma as a home manager as well as additional qualifications in leadership, business administration, and/or project management

You bring several years of experience in a management position, preferably in the role of home management

You think strategically – always keeping an eye on the quality of care, economic control, and legal requirements

You are a visionary personality with a pronounced leadership understanding who joyfully drives innovation and transformation forward

Customer-oriented, cooperative, and resilient personality with negotiation skills, assertiveness, and very good communication skills
