Your Tasks
As a student, you are jointly responsible for holistic and competent care, treatment, and support of emergency patients and their relatives. Under professional, competent guidance and supervision, you will acquire the necessary skills for the emergency nursing field during your further training period in accordance with the framework curriculum requirements. You will benefit from a comprehensive 2-year postgraduate course. We offer you teaching and coaching by professional trainers and support from specialists in practice. Together with the educational provider, the Aargau Vocational School for Anaesthesia, Intensive Care, and Emergency Nursing (see afsain), which organises the theoretical education, we support and promote you in your daily work.
Your Profile
You are a committed, open-minded individual with a qualification as a Dipl. Nurse HF or Bachelor of Science in Nursing FH or an equivalent recognised foreign nursing diploma. Your professional experience of at least 6 months in acute care is advantageous. If you lack professional experience, we enable you to acquire it in our emergency department. You have an appropriate understanding of patients in emergency departments, enjoy your profession, interdisciplinary collaboration, and want to further develop your nursing competence. Dealing with rapidly changing, complex situations is a welcome challenge for you.
