Tasks

You review applications from foreign agricultural businesses for compliance with Bio Suisse guidelines based on inspection reports and other documents. You work closely with our international contractual partners abroad, conduct annual follow-up inspections as well as training and qualification of foreign control bodies.

Our expectations:

• Degree in Agronomy FH, ETH Zurich or equivalent education

• Relevant professional experience in organic farming and/or knowledge of organic guidelines

• Experience in certification activities desired

• Experience in processing, storage and trade of products/foodstuffs is an advantage

• Independent, reliable, structured and precise way of working

• Very good German, English and Spanish skills in spoken and written form; French and/or Italian are an advantage

• Confident manner, strong communication skills and intercultural competence

• Work experience abroad; willingness to travel

• Team spirit, quality awareness and resilience

• Good IT user skills and experience with digitalisation and/or AI are an advantage
