A university assistant at IUFRS

The University Institute for Training and Research in Care (IUFRS) of the CHUV is looking for a university assistant with a workload between 80% and 100%, to complete its team. The starting date is scheduled for July 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon. This person will work under the responsibility of Prof. Antje Horsch.

Context

The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and training.

Since its creation in Lausanne in 2007, the IUFRS contributes to addressing these challenges:

• It allows nurses from French-speaking Switzerland and beyond to pursue their academic training in nursing sciences (Master and Doctorate) and to exercise clinical and scientific leadership (advanced nursing practice);
• It is committed to research to develop innovative, effective, and efficient clinical practices.

To fulfill its mission, the IUFRS maintains a dense network of institutional, scientific, and clinical partnerships at local, regional, national, and international levels.

Mission

• You carry out your thesis work
• You assist in teaching and research
• You support certain projects within the IUFRS.

Profile

• You hold a Master’s degree in nursing sciences or an equivalent qualification
• You have excellent knowledge of statistical analysis methods
• You have excellent knowledge of French and English (C1).
