About the job
Social Pedagogical Employee 60-80%
In our residential group at the House on the Rank, seven children and young people with cognitive, multiple and psychological impairments as well as special behavioural difficulties live. They are mobile and independent in many areas. This creates plenty of space for what social pedagogical work is all about: shaping relationships, accompanying development, promoting independence, experiencing things together and actively shaping everyday life.
You are not looking for a run-of-the-mill job. Working with our children and young people can be challenging, very challenging. There are many situations that require patience, clarity, resilience and professional action. In addition, there are irregular working hours and night on-call duties. You stay overnight in the residential group. The nights are usually quiet, but the children and young people know that someone is there for them at night if they need support.
Those who decide exactly for this, however, get something that many other jobs cannot offer: genuine relationships, responsibility and the opportunity to make a concrete difference in the everyday life of our society.
With us, you can expect a creative, supportive team that sticks together, masters challenges together and celebrates successes. We also offer a lot of variety in everyday life, exciting leisure activities and unforgettable experiences.
