About the job
We are a manageable, lively school in a rural yet close-to-town environment with around 100 learners and 17 staff members. We foster a respectful coexistence and shape the school as a shared space for learning and development. Especially in the area of school space development, but also in the pedagogical field, we are in an exciting and crucial phase in which milestones for the future of Schlatt-Haslen School are being set.
As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking immediately or by agreement for a committed and solution-oriented personality who wishes to shape and co-design our school (Cycle 1 and 2) both pedagogically and in the current spatial development.
Your main tasks include:
- Supporting teachers in their pedagogical work and development
- Planning and organising the school year
- Leading teachers and promoting team development
- Initiating further training for teachers
- Coordinating and implementing pedagogical school development projects
- Participating in the current spatial development and co-designing new learning spaces
- Ensuring the implementation of quality management according to cantonal requirements
- Optimising learning conditions and the development of the school climate
What you bring:
- Basic pedagogical training
- Completed school leadership training or willingness to complete it promptly
- Empathy, assertiveness and enjoyment in dealing with children, parents, teachers and authorities
- Respectful and solution-oriented attitude
- Interest in the introduction and implementation of pedagogical innovations
- Interest in school space development and design
