We are looking for a technician for the Technical Support area to expand our team.

The company’s core competencies lie in the development and production of proprietary hardware components and software communication solutions for rail vehicles, emergency services, airports, and security-sensitive facilities. Overall, ErvoCom is divided into the following three business areas:

• Intelligent Transport
  Development and approval of rail-specific hardware and software solutions. Implementation of system solutions for train communication and passenger information.
• Critical Communication
  Complete planning, calculation, and implementation of radio networks, including the development of customised special solutions.
• Emergency & Security
  Location, monitoring, and communication solutions for emergency services, financial service providers, and transport companies.

Your Tasks

We are looking for a versatile technician to complement our team. In our demanding, highly technical environment, sound electronics knowledge is required. We seek a practical-minded individual who works independently and enjoys actively pitching in. The tasks are diverse due to our varied projects: you will support production electrically and independently manage subprojects in the installation and assembly of technical systems. The following tasks fall under your responsibility:

• Carrying out repairs on ErvoCom products in close cooperation with development for continuous product improvement
• Supporting production with technical questions and optimising work processes
• Maintaining internal test systems as well as defining and coordinating further developments within the testing team
• Independently implementing subprojects in the installation and assembly of technical communication solutions.

Your Profile

• Completed technical apprenticeship (automation technician, electronics technician, or similar) or further training as telematics technician, HF technician, or comparable.
• Driving licence category B
• Independence and initiative (willingness to learn)
• Analytical thinking and quick technical comprehension
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Manual dexterity and solid knowledge of electronic engineering
• Experience in fault finding, repair, and technical analysis of electronic systems
• Experience in the assembly and operation of technical systems as well as their maintenance
• German as mother tongue
• English skills advantageous
