The Department of Finance is the competence centre for the professional and efficient procurement, provision, and management of the resources necessary for fulfilling state tasks. The Office for Financial Services is responsible for managing the state accounting system. The SAP S/4HANA financial systems are also operated by the IT Finance and Logistics organisation within the Office for Financial Services. This office is responsible for providing and further developing the canton-wide finance and logistics systems as well as their integration into the overall IT architecture. This includes, besides SAP S/4HANA, various portal solutions, SAP Fiori, the SAP Integration Suite, and the SAP Analytics Cloud.

SAP Interface Specialist (m/f/d)

What to expect
- You support and develop the SAP modules in the finance area, especially FI/CO, as well as the associated interfaces continuously using the SAP Integration Suite.
- You ensure the correct, comprehensible, and audit-proof integration of financial data between SAP systems and peripheral systems.
- You analyse and prioritise requirements from the specialist departments and develop professional concepts, solution proposals, and technical specifications from them.
- You actively contribute to the optimisation, standardisation, and documentation of business processes.
- You support users in 2nd level support, analyse malfunctions, and plan and document tests during system adjustments, releases, and migrations.
- You participate in IT and specialist projects, coordinate collaboration between specialist departments, IT, and external partners, and take on partial project responsibility if required.
- You support audits and reviews, ensure knowledge transfer within the organisation, and continuously develop your expertise in SAP Finance and SAP Integration Suite.
What distinguishes you
- You have a completed degree (FH/University) in computer science, business informatics, or business administration, ideally with further training in SAP Finance (FI/CO) and system integration.
- You have solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and experience with hybrid SAP landscapes (on-premise / private cloud).
- You bring extensive experience with SAP interfaces such as RFC, ALE, web services, and REST APIs.
- You understand end-to-end data flows between SAP and third-party systems and are familiar with common data formats such as XML, CSV, and JSON as well as mapping basics.
- You have experience in analysing, monitoring, and troubleshooting interfaces.
- You communicate clearly and appropriately with specialist departments, IT, and external partners and work in a customer- and service-oriented manner.
- You convince through teamwork, resilience, flexibility, very good German skills, and a confident and reliable manner.
