Job description:

As an accountant, you will be responsible for the complete accounting management and will actively contribute to the company’s financial management. You will work closely with the finance team and participate in the optimisation of internal processes.

We are actively seeking a:

Accountant – M/F 100%

Your main tasks:

• Ensure complete accounting management up to the annual closing
• Perform interim and annual closings and prepare financial statements
• Record routine accounting entries and verify supporting documents
• Monitor accounts receivable, record payments and carry out reminders
• Reconcile accounts and perform bank reconciliations
• Prepare Swiss VAT returns and ensure compliance with current tax obligations
• Manage and control the cash register
• Monitor cost accounting and prepare internal financial reports
• Participate in cross-functional projects related to finance and administration

Technical and interpersonal skills:

• Hold a recognised qualification in accounting or finance, ideally complemented by a Federal Diploma as a specialist in finance and accounting or an equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role in Switzerland, with autonomous handling of annual closings and VAT returns
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Knowledge of ERP systems, ideally Odoo
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
• Team spirit and good priority management

Work rate: 100%
