Team Lead Production Scheduling

In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Each day, you will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability. You will also showcase your expertise by releasing manufacturing work orders.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
This role is contributing to the Production Planning team within Motion High Power Solutions (MOHP) in Untersiggenthal, Switzerland. Main stakeholders are production, procurement, project management, engineering.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creating and maintaining a detailed production schedule from the production plan.
- Executing daily, plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules.
- Establishing sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule plan.
- Monitoring schedule adherence, identifying key root causes for deviation, and taking follow-up improvement action.

Qualifications for the role
- You have 3+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment, ideally in an engineer-to-order (ETO) setting.
- You are highly adept in SAP (PP/MM modules); experience with wayRTS/Planisware is a strong plus.
- You enjoy working with structured production planning methodologies and have a solid understanding of MRP processes and capacity management.
- You are passionate about structured problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
- Completed education at Höhere Fachschule (HF) level (e.g. Techniker:in HF) or equivalent, ideally in a technical or supply chain related field; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- You are at ease communicating in German (fluent) and English (working proficiency).
