The EOC, the multisite hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. To complete our reception team at the Regional Hospital of Bellinzona and Valli, Bellinzona site, we are looking for a
Receptionist/Switchboard Operator (50%)
Profile:
The receptionist is the face and voice of the hospital, managing the front office and switchboard, ensuring orientation, clarity, and security for patients, visitors, and collaborators.
We offer a structured professional environment oriented towards service quality, integration into a dynamic and collaborative team in a modern healthcare context, where reception is an integral part of care.
The person we are looking for holds a federal certificate of capacity as a hotel communication employee (AFC) or a federal certificate of capacity as a commercial employee (AFC) with proven experience in reception/welcoming. They have perfect command of the Italian language, good oral and written knowledge of German, French, and English (preferable qualification), as well as solid knowledge in using main IT applications (Office package and management systems).
The future collaborator has strong relational and communication skills to ensure the best possible welcome to patients and their families. They have marked abilities in stress and priority management as well as excellent organizational skills with a team-working attitude and service orientation.
They are precise, reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility, flexible, and available to work shifts according to service needs (day, evening, and holiday shifts) in variable hours between 07:00 and 20:00.
