Mechanical Engineer / Development Engineer R&D (m/f/d)

As a Development Engineer, you are responsible for new and further developments of our machines.

Area of responsibility:

• Management of development projects for new and further development of our machine portfolio
• Creation of mechanical detailed designs and assembly drawings
• Simulation and calculation of individual parts and assemblies
• Verification of calculation bases on test setups in the in-house technical centre
• Technical support of our sales team

Requirements:

• Completed degree in mechanical engineering (ETH/University/FH)
• Interest in interdisciplinary technical issues (e.g. process and automation technology)
• Proficiency in modern 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks)
• Experience with conformity assessment procedures
• Experience with the explosion protection directive and hygienic design is an advantage
• Knowledge in finite element simulation (preferably ANSYS Mechanical)
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
