Plant and Equipment Builder specialising in Welding Work
Tasks
- Manufacturing sheet metal components for gas turbines and partly for aviation according to drawings and specifications
- Mastering welding techniques with nickel-based alloys
- TIG welding according to drawings and specifications
- Welding on robot, rotary and longitudinal automatic machines
- TIG welding of various material thicknesses
- Orbital welding
- Documenting and updating work papers and welding instructions
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as a plant and equipment builder
- Further training in welding advantageous, especially as a welder
- Examinations according to standard EN ISO 9606-4 (material groups 42 – 45)
- Experience in TIG welding of materials made from nickel-based alloys
- Quality awareness
- Responsibility for work according to specifications
