Operations Agent

The Real Estate and Land Directorate (DIF) analyses and meets the premises needs of the Vaud cantonal administration (ACV), manages and optimises rental income, and ensures the operation, maintenance, security and insurance of buildings. It also administers the real estate assets and conducts land transactions.

Within the operations unit, you will manage, under the supervision of a head caretaker, the operation of several buildings and take appropriate measures to ensure optimal use of premises and infrastructure.

• Contribute to coordinating cleaning work of premises and maintenance of installations (heating, ventilation, sanitation, electricity, etc.)
• Ensure waste sorting according to guidelines and participate in managing waste disposal and recycling
• Guarantee the image of the Real Estate and Land Directorate (DIF) by taking all necessary measures to satisfy users’ needs
• Carry out occasional replacement or support tasks at other sites managed by operations

• Federal VET Diploma as operations agent or in a building trade
• Minimum 4 years’ professional experience in a professional caretaking service
• Rigour, availability and effective, rigorous management of unforeseen events inherent to the role
• Good knowledge of building maintenance and technical upkeep
• Good command of French, spoken and written
• Driving licence
• Availability outside normal working hours
