The Fribourg Prison (the institution) consolidates the enforcement facilities of the Canton of Fribourg. It has the legal form of a public-law institution with its own legal personality. It is administratively assigned to the Directorate of Security, Justice and Sport and is subject to the supervisory authority of the State Council. The institution ensures the guarding, accommodation, care and treatment of prisoners in its custody and contributes to the implementation of the objectives for the enforcement of custodial sentences and measures.

Your tasks
- On-call duty and constant supervision of incarcerated persons
- Contribute to the resocialisation of incarcerated persons through positive influence
- Ensure discipline, order and security among the inmates
- Apply and enforce the applicable rules and instructions
Desired profile
- Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience
- Possession of the federal specialist certificate for prison officers is an advantage
- Good physical and mental fitness as well as flexibility and resilience
- Sensitivity for interpersonal relationships, communication and conflict resolution
- Willingness to work in shifts (irregular working hours, including Saturdays and Sundays)
- Willingness to intervene outside working hours in case of force majeure
- Impeccable reputation
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- Proficiency in German or French with good knowledge of the other language
