Desired profile
- Lawyer’s diploma, licence or master’s degree in law and demonstrate sufficient practical knowledge for the role
- Experience in the areas of justice of the peace (cf. art. 58 LJ ) would be an advantage
- Active citizenship at the cantonal level. Foreign nationals must hold a settlement permit and have been domiciled in the canton for at least five years. Candidates must not be subject to bankruptcy proceedings, nor have been criminally convicted for acts incompatible with the role
- Fluency in French with good knowledge of German
