The Canton of Zurich has numerous cultural properties of regional, national and international significance. Their protection requires systematic organisation as well as clearly defined responsibilities to be able to act effectively in the event of an incident. Would you like to contribute to the protection of cultural properties in the Canton of Zurich and make an important contribution to safeguarding the cultural heritage? A project position for cultural property protection is being created to develop the professional, organisational and conceptual foundations.

Your tasks
- Analysis of the existing CPP structures in the Canton of Zurich and development of a concept for their further development
- Design and development of the foundations to ensure an operationally functioning cultural property protection in the Canton of Zurich
- Initiation and support of the review of the cultural property protection inventory with objects of national and regional significance (CPP inventory, BABS) as well as identification of gaps in the existing inventories
- Design of emergency planning for selected, particularly sensitive cultural properties of national significance (A-objects)
- Professional exchange and coordination with federal offices (especially BABS, BAK) as well as relevant municipal, cantonal and institutional partners
Your profile
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g. monument preservation, archaeology, cultural management, spatial planning, security or administrative sciences)
- Sound knowledge in the field of cultural property protection or disaster preparedness is an advantage
- Experience in conceptual, project or development work in complex institutional structures
- Independent, structured and analytical way of working
- Strong communication and coordination skills as well as the
- Ability to bring together different interests and develop viable solutions
