About the job
You support the management and the FINMA supervision with data-based market and risk analyses, further develop the risk monitor, and identify cross-divisional risks. In addition, you prepare analyses for decisions and conduct trend-based investigations.
Main tasks
- Participation in building the Market Analysis, Risk Monitor, and Risk Strategy team
- Design and implementation of data-based market and risk analyses of the financial market
- Further development of the integrated risk monitor and FINMA's risk strategy
- Preparation of analysis results for the supervision and management
- Escalation of cross-divisional risks resulting from conducted analyses
- Development of problem-specific investigations based on trends and developments in the financial market
Profile
- Master's degree in economics, finance, or a comparable discipline with a quantitative focus
- At least 5 years of experience at a bank, insurance company, or other financial institution, ideally in risk management
- Experience in data processing and analysis as well as in preparing and reporting results
- Strong analytical and communication skills, high judgment and assertiveness with a convincing presence
- Flawless written and spoken expression in German or French (C2) and very good knowledge of the other language as well as English (B2).
