The Zurich Brickworks offer ceramic solutions for the entire building envelope. For over 150 years, we have made living more natural and building easier with our clay building materials. From a simple raw material, we develop sophisticated systems for roofs, walls, and facades. Since 2020, we have been part of the swisspor Group.
To strengthen our operations maintenance at our location in Istighofen (Thurgau), we are looking for an Operations Electrician.
Your Tasks
- Electrical maintenance work on our production facilities
- Analyze and resolve malfunctions (including PLC)
- Support machine operators with minor malfunctions
- Assist in planning and implementing retrofits on machines and infrastructure
- Smaller installation projects according to NIN/NIV
- Update electrical schematics
- Willingness for periodic on-call services
You Bring
- Training as an electrician or automation technician in an industrial company
- Several years of experience as an operations electrician in a manufacturing company
- Authorization NIN / NIV as well as PLC knowledge (Siemens S5 / S7) are desirable
- Enjoyment in imparting knowledge to employees
- Independent, motivated, and team-capable "doer personality"
- Good German skills in spoken and written form, any additional foreign language is an advantage
- Driver's license category B (for on-call duties)
- Residence max. 30 minutes from the workplace (on-call) or willingness to relocate
