Backup & Storage Engineer (m/f/d)

You bring solid experience in the backup environment and gladly take responsibility for the secure and reliable operation of business-critical systems. With us, you are responsible for the design, operation and further development of our global backup infrastructure. You develop standards further and apply your knowledge in storage and server virtualisation specifically in the context of data protection. • Responsibility for the design, operation and further development of our global backup infrastructure
• Ensuring a stable, secure, high-performance and highly available backup operation at enterprise level
• Definition, implementation and further development of backup standards, guidelines and processes
• Support and further development of the areas of storage and server virtualisation in the context of data protection
• Documentation of systems as well as collaboration on cross-departmental IT projects and concepts

• Completed training or studies in the IT field
• Solid and verifiable experience in the backup environment
• Very good knowledge of backup technologies and architectures
• Experience with Commvault is an advantage
• Sound knowledge in the areas of storage and server virtualisation
• Sense of responsibility as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Experience with agile methods as well as project management or collaboration tools
• Enjoyment of teamwork, initiative and co-creation
• Willingness for occasional travel
