Cook/Chef EFZ or Kitchen Assistant EBA
Your tasks include:
- getting to know and considering typical products of the regions
- ensuring that the dishes are healthy and balanced
- preparing the daily mise en place
- strictly adhering to the prescribed recipes
- ensuring and maintaining our hygiene regulations at the highest quality
- consistent implementation of the internal HACCP guidelines
- preparing soups, salads, meat dishes, vegetables, or desserts and using appropriate kitchen equipment, knives, and pans
- using various preparation methods, such as boiling, sautéing, steaming, braising, gratinating, and frying
In this training, you will learn how to prepare warm and cold dishes as well as the entire process according to modern production methods. Additionally, you will present the dishes decoratively, contributing to the well-being of residents and guests. Some assignments at banquets and events will round out your area of activity. You are an engaged personality who enjoys cooking and working with food. You have completed the mandatory school period and want to bring your creativity into this profession. Camaraderie and teamwork are important to you. A meaningful and varied learning and activity field, as well as a cheerful team, are waiting for you.
