Your Tasks

• Creation of holistic concepts for the further development, modernization, and migration of datacenter infrastructures for our clients, including technical and economic evaluation of existing datacenter architectures
• Central point of contact for conceptual questions regarding servers, storage, backup, and virtualization based on our strategic manufacturers
• Responsible and solution-oriented development of blueprints and best practices as well as architecture lead for complex solutions from multiple technology areas (e.g., hybrid cloud approaches)
• Deriving recommendations for action and implementation plans for the implementation and operational phase
• Supporting sales in customer consulting on the latest trends and technologies as well as in the context of proposal creation
• Conducting customer workshops and presentations
• Evaluating new technical solutions and developing sales documentation
• Active participation as an expert in our communities

Your Profile

• Higher vocational training in computer science or equivalent education
• Expertise in all relevant aspects of datacenter design with experience in pre-sales and/or consulting for datacenter concepts
• Conceptual knowledge of the service offerings of relevant hardware and software as well as cloud providers (e.g., HPE, Lenovo, DELL, VMware, Citrix, Microsoft, AWS, Google GCP)
• Confident appearance with decision-makers, specialist departments, and IT specialists in the context of workshops and presentations as a trusted advisor
• Enjoyment in presenting and moderating workshops
• High interest in new technologies and continuous education
• Fluent German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
