This is what you can expect
- Take responsibility: Identification, evaluation, and development of new sourcing channels for the strategic advancement of the supplier base and ensuring supply security as well as cost-effectiveness
- Strategically integrate: Complete integration of new business partners along the entire value chain – from the first contact to system-side and process implementation
- Develop business: Analysis of global sourcing markets, identification of potential partners, negotiations to expand the supplier base, and introduction of standardized business processes
- Coordination and collaboration: Close collaboration with purchasing, logistics, IT, category management, and legal, as well as being the central contact person for new suppliers throughout the onboarding process
This is what you bring
- Professional expertise: Completed studies in business administration, supply chain management, purchasing, or a comparable field. Further training in negotiation, project, or process management is an advantage
- Experience: Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, supplier management, or sourcing, ideally with knowledge of global sourcing markets and in building new supplier relationships. Proficient use of relevant IT systems (e.g., ERP, SRM) and data analysis.
- Analytical & structured: Strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented working style
- Communicative & assertive: High personal responsibility, intercultural sensitivity, communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to manage complex onboarding processes
