Head of Accounting, Controlling and Taxation (m/f/d)

As part of a planned succession arrangement for our long-standing incumbent, we are looking for a competent individual as Head of Accounting, Controlling and Taxation (m/f/d).

Your Tasks

• Overall responsibility for the accounting of the entire group conducted according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) including preparation of annual financial statements for individual companies and natural persons
• Overall responsibility for all tax matters of the group including preparation of tax returns, real estate capital gains tax returns, withholding tax, etc.
• Overall responsibility for VAT, capital contribution tax and own consumption accounting
• Active participation in day-to-day business as well as support of the team in complex booking and closing tasks
• Leadership and development of the accounting and IT team
• Handling property purchases/sales in the area of accounting and taxation
• Collaboration with external partners such as auditors, banks and tax authorities

Your Profile

• Completed advanced training in finance or fiduciary area with focus on accounting and taxation as well as several years of professional experience in a similar role
• Experience in the real estate industry is mandatory
• Sound knowledge of Swiss accounting standards and tax laws
• Experience in leading and developing a team
• Entrepreneurial mindset, analytical skills and hands-on mentality
• Independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
