About the job
The privately run senior centre in the heart of the city of Winterthur offers a living space for 150 residents where they feel comfortable and are cared for according to their needs. The Senior Centre Wiesengrund is a recognised and popular establishment in the healthcare sector.
Our highly motivated housekeeping team takes care of the basic and maintenance cleaning of the rooms and apartments of our residents, all public areas and ancillary rooms in the Senior Centre Wiesengrund, as well as laundry services.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an immediate or agreed start date for a
Housekeeping Staff (m/f/d) 50 - 100%
What you can achieve with us:
- Carrying out maintenance and spot cleaning tasks (including residents' rooms, living groups, public zones, office areas, infrastructure rooms, windows, cloakrooms)
- Intermediate and deep cleaning tasks
- Preparation of residents' and operational laundry (sorting, stain treatment, washing)
- Folding and distributing operational and residents' laundry
- Performing various housekeeping duties
What you bring with you:
- Good spoken German skills and good understanding of Swiss German
- Experience in cleaning services and laundry
- Quick comprehension and reliability
- A cool head in hectic situations
- Independence and adaptability in a very agile environment
- Willingness to work weekend and public holiday shifts
