Responsible for Financial Accounting / Senior Accountant |

60% | Hochdorf LU In this role, you ensure the correct bookkeeping of talsee AG and talsee Holding AG and play a key role in the preparation of our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Your tasks

• Independent and reliable management of financial accounting
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and Swiss GAAP FER – including account reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and intercompany reconciliations
• Active participation in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements and preparation of reports for management and the board of directors
• Responsibility for the internal control system (ICS) process in accounting, including ensuring the execution and documentation of defined controls
• Timely preparation of VAT returns (Switzerland and Germany) as well as management of fixed asset accounting
• Monitoring liquidity, controlling creditor payments, and professional coordination of debtor and creditor accounting
• Active support of the regular audit as the primary contact person for the auditors
• Support of the Head of Finance & Services in projects and the further development of finance and ERP processes
• Participation in the annual budgeting process

Your profile

• Commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting, ideally with a professional certificate or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Sound knowledge of Swiss VAT and knowledge of German VAT
• Proficient use of ERP and financial systems as well as advanced MS Excel skills
• Independent, structured, and precise working style with high personal responsibility and analytical thinking
• Team-oriented personality with good communication skills
