About the job
As a supervisory specialist for collective investment schemes, you contribute your expertise to supervisory activities and help protect investors. You can expect a very varied range of tasks.
Main tasks
- Risk-oriented and data-driven supervision of institutions and products in the area of collective investment schemes
- Conducting thematic analyses on the risk management of institutions and collective investment schemes, especially regarding liquidity and valuation risks
- Development and application of data-driven analyses and models to identify and assess risks
- Participation in the continuous development of supervisory concepts, supervisory practice, and analysis tools
- Professional support and deployment as a subject matter expert during on-site inspections
- Analysis of regulatory, economic, and international developments in asset management as well as assessment of the resulting supervisory action requirements
Profile
- University degree in economics, finance, or a comparable field; specialised further training (e.g. CFA, FRM, CAIA or auditor) is an advantage
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in the area of collective investment schemes, asset management in general, risk management, auditing, or consulting
- Sound knowledge of risk management for collective investment schemes, especially in the areas of liquidity and valuation
- Experience in developing data-driven analyses or models
- Analytical, proactive, and independent working style as well as the ability to prepare complex matters appropriately for the target audience and to collaborate interdisciplinarily
- Very good knowledge of German or French at level C2, good knowledge of the other language at level B2, and good English skills at level B2
