Childcare Employee Paid by the Hour at the Thun Location
The HEKS office in Bern is looking for a self-reliant person with a positive demeanour for the German courses with childcare in Thun from 10 August 2026 as
These are your main tasks:
Workload:
approx. 8–20 lessons/week, possible weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
approx. 8–20 lessons/week, possible weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Age-appropriate care and support of (young) children with games, creative activities, singing, storytelling, etc.
- Promotion and support of children in acquiring the German language
- Participation in HEKS training events for childcare staff
- Administrative tasks such as reporting new children to course administration, filling out time reports
- General collaboration
Ideally, you bring the following:
- Training as a playgroup leader and experience and enjoyment in caring for (young) children
- Reliable and punctual working style
- Good spoken German skills (at least level B1) as well as basic written German skills (at least level A2)
- Completed first aid course for (young) children or willingness to complete one
- Flexibility in workload
