Team Leader Noise Protection Projects

Would you like to noticeably improve the quality of life for people in the Canton of Zurich through your work? Together with your team, you develop effective solutions to reduce noise pollution along the cantonal roads and actively shape cantonal and – through participation in inter-cantonal committees – also national noise protection.

Your tasks

• You lead a team of four project managers both professionally and personally, promote their development and create the conditions for successful collaboration
• Together with your team, you manage ongoing noise remediation projects, keep an eye on deadlines, quality and budgets, and ensure successful implementation
• You lead your own noise remediation projects and coordinate collaboration within the administration and with external contractors
• You network within the office as well as across directorates and departments, reconcile different interests and represent noise protection to various stakeholders

Your profile

• You think holistically and keep the big picture in mind
• You succeed in incorporating different perspectives and developing sustainable solutions together with various stakeholders
• You quickly structure complex issues, develop well-founded concepts and make appropriate decisions at different levels
• You have several years of leadership experience and know how to support, develop and motivate specialists towards common goals
• You hold a completed university degree in engineering sciences, environmental sciences, geography, spatial planning or a related field and have several years of relevant professional experience
• You bring knowledge in acoustics and specifically in road noise remediation
