Tax Commissioner Agriculture
Tax Administration (Commissioner Department) | Department of Finance and Municipalities | 40–100 % | Chur, alternatively also Ilanz or Samedan possible
The Cantonal Tax Administration is responsible for the collection of direct taxes in the canton of Graubünden, insofar as the legislation does not provide for responsibility of the federal government or the municipalities. The Commissioner Department assesses the income and wealth tax of natural persons (direct federal tax and cantonal tax).
The Tax Administration offers you a comprehensive induction into a demanding field of activity and a collegial working atmosphere immediately or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
- Examination and determination of tax factors for income and wealth taxes of self-employed persons in the agricultural sector based on tax returns
- Audits in the agricultural sector
- Written, telephone and personal communication with taxpayers or their representatives
- Making decisions on appeals and representing the Tax Administration in appeal proceedings before the court
What we expect from you
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in accounting, fiduciary and/or tax matters
- Higher agricultural education or higher business administration education with experience in the agricultural sector
- Quick comprehension
- Fluency in spoken and written German, knowledge of Italian and/or Romansh is an advantage
- Decisiveness
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness as well as good manners and confident appearance
- Professional commitment and willingness to continue education
- Resilient, organised and team-oriented personality with high discretion and reliability
