The University Psychiatric Clinics (UPK) Basel are one of the leading university psychiatric clinics in Switzerland. Our goal is the continuous improvement of the treatment of our patients to achieve their best possible quality of life.
The innovative transdiagnostic concept of the Early Intervention Day Clinic FIT is aimed at young people aged 15 to 25 years who suffer, for example, from affective or early psychotic disorders, difficulties in emotion regulation, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, or diagnostically unclear problems. The aim of the treatment is to provide young people in this critical developmental phase with comprehensive support in individual and group therapies in a milieu therapeutic setting. An important focus is on supporting social participation and everyday accompaniment of the young people. The department is jointly managed by the clinics for adults and for children and adolescents of the UPK.

What to expect
- Occupational therapy treatment and support of day patients in group and individual settings
- Professional therapy planning and evaluation of therapeutic measures, also based on occupational therapy assessments
- Active participation in interdisciplinary meetings
- Close collaboration with the interprofessional treatment team of the Early Intervention Day Clinic
- Professional documentation of treatment in the clinical information system
- Collaboration with professional colleagues from the Medical-Therapeutic Services
What distinguishes you
- We are looking for an experienced and committed professional with empathy and a completed occupational therapy training - for foreign diplomas, SRK registration is a prerequisite (the costs for registration will be covered by UPK in case of employment)
- You respond to new circumstances and different characters with empathy and are open and flexible
- You have clinical professional experience, especially in psychiatry
- You have a high level of methodological and media competence and are confident in handling assessment tools and evaluations
- You have an independent and structured way of working and express yourself concisely in writing and orally
- You are a team player with humour and the ability to self-organise
