About the job
Take responsibility in complex restructuring and insolvency proceedings and actively shape the resolution of financial institutions.
Main tasks
- Drafting orders in insolvency law and representing applications in decision-making bodies
- Independent assessment of recognition requests for foreign bankruptcy decrees and insolvency measures
- Analysis and evaluation of emergency/stabilisation plans as well as approval requests for capital market instruments
- Independent clarification of complex legal issues in the area of Recovery & Resolution
- Participation in legislative projects and professional publications
- Collaboration with supervisory departments and internal cross-functional units
Profile
- Master of Laws (Swiss university) with bar exam; additional qualifications (e.g. doctorate, LL.M.) advantageous
- 3-5 years professional experience in insolvency law, restructuring or banking/financial market law
- Interest in financial market law issues and developments
- High degree of independence, analytical strength and networked thinking
- Confident manner and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary contexts
- Fluent German or French (C2) with very good knowledge of the other language (bilingual FR/DE advantageous) as well as very good English skills (C1); Italian advantageous
