As part of the development of our activities in French-speaking Switzerland, we are looking for a General Contractor Project Manager to strengthen our teams.
Your role
You ensure the preparation, organization, management, and supervision of projects (notably transformation and renovation), guarantee margin, schedule, and operational performance objectives, and lead and supervise internal and external technical staff.
Your responsibilities
- Planning, preparation, and organization
- Manage the overall preparation of projects (human, technical, administrative) and risk analysis
- Develop execution schedules and oversee the selection of partners (suppliers and subcontractors)
- Operational management and supervision
- Lead the work and technical coordination seeking margin optimization and innovation
- Conduct site meetings and supervise the entire process of project acceptance
- Financial, administrative management and reporting
- Ensure contractual control and rigorous financial monitoring of projects (budgets, invoicing)
- Prepare and present management reports and performance indicators (reporting)
- Safety, quality, and environment
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, technical conformity, and environmental regulations
- Promote a culture of prevention on site
- Client, owner, and buyer management
- Ensure strategic interface with owners and manage buyer follow-up
- Energize commercial relationships and client meetings
- Management
- Unite, support employees, and allocate tasks to optimize individual and collective performance
- Support team skill development and act as a relay for field needs
Your profile
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of successful experience in a similar position
- Expertise in transformation and renovation is a real asset
- Mastery of construction techniques, standards, and regulations
- Good knowledge of the local construction environment and market players
- Mastery and management of methods for analyzing technical, financial, and organizational risks, planning, and coordination
- Sense of responsibility and reliability, pressure management, adaptability, critical and analytical thinking, autonomy, and initiative
- Ability to interact in a team, assertiveness, constructive conflict management, service and client orientation
