The Hospital Network AR
The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Finance Department, we are seeking a Senior Controller as of 1 August 2026 or by arrangement, with a workload of 80-100%.
Attractive tasks
- Professional and operational responsibility for operational accounting with cost centre and cost unit accounting according to REKOLE®
- Contact person for questions regarding the cost accounting of SVAR for internal and external stakeholders
- Conducting regular REKOLE® audits and recertifications
- Preparing reports, statistics, special analyses and profitability calculations
- Support in the development and further advancement of the Management Information System (MIS)
That is why we want you
- Commercial basic training with business management further education (HF, FH) or advanced training in accounting (for example, federal specialist certificate)
- Professional experience in a similar role in healthcare or willingness to quickly and independently familiarise yourself with new subject areas
- Knowledge of REKOLE® is an advantage
- Very good user skills in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems
- Reliable, structured and precise way of working
- High service orientation and communication skills even in hectic times
- Good integration and team skills
- Time flexibility regarding closing tasks and reporting
