Job description:
In your new role, your tasks will impact the quality of patient care. Your role will notably include:
- Ensuring the management and control of medications in the central pharmacy.
- Ensuring computerized ordering, receipt, delivery, and storage of medications for the care unit pharmacies.
- Monitoring stock control, arrangement, and compliance with good storage practices within the care unit pharmacies.
- Managing, in collaboration with the units, the flow of narcotics, antidotes, and off-list medications.
- Tracking costly medications.
- Answering pharmaceutical assistance questions regarding obtaining, equivalence, storage, or any general information related to medications.
Required profile:
We are confident in your rapid success in your future role thanks to your:
- Desired 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Desired experience in a hospital environment
- Proficiency with computer tools
- Ability to collaborate with various professionals (care services, accounting)
- Rigor and ability to work independently
- Sense of innovation, openness to change.
Education level:
Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a pharmacy assistant or equivalent training required
