As uncomplicated as with friends - as comfortable as in a hotel.
True to this motto, we offer unique holiday experiences in the Pro Juventute's own hotel Chesa Spuondas between St. Moritz and Champfèr. During school holidays, we especially welcome families. Otherwise, peace seekers, hikers, active sports enthusiasts, and culture lovers stay in the almost 100-year-old Engadine manor house. Since the beginning of this year, Chesa Spuondas with its 19 historic rooms and junior suites as well as a public restaurant is a proud member of the «Swiss Historic Hotels».
From March 2026 or by arrangement we are looking for a co-host Reception 80% in a permanent annual position with great joy in dealing with people and a sense for genuine hospitality.
What tasks await you?
- You are the central contact person for our guests - from arrival to warm farewell
- You approach reservation requests with sales flair and create suitable offers for different holiday budgets (HotelPartner)
- You reliably process reservations, rebookings, and cancellations and carefully maintain all data in our systems
- Whether by phone, email, or personally at the reception: With your Engadine knowledge, you enrich our guests' stay with special experiences
- Your guest care also includes administrative tasks such as billing and cash management
- If support is needed during breakfast or dinner service, your hands-on mentality is relied upon
- During the off-season, when the hotel is closed, you work in office mode and are available for reservation requests from Monday to Friday
What profile do you bring?
- Completed training and experience in the hotel industry, ideally with reception experience
- Strong service understanding and a warm-professional demeanor
- Confident handling of a digital work environment (Protel, Microsoft Office)
- Very good German and English skills, Italian is highly desired
- You keep an overview even in lively moments and perform at your best
- You work independently, conscientiously, and with high initiative
- You love guest contact - especially with families - and enjoy working in a small team
- You consciously use the shift break from 12:00 to 16:00 for your work-life balance
- Since we cannot offer employee accommodation, you already live in the Engadine
- You are looking for a long-term commitment
What you can look forward to!
- A workplace in a former private villa that writes new hotel stories every day
- A familiar, cheerful team that works together and supports each other
