About the job

J. SCHNEEBERGER Maschinen AG develops and produces state-of-the-art CNC-controlled tool grinding machines with integrated robotics for the manufacture and regrinding of cutting tools and the production of a variety of precision parts. The internationally active family business is represented in all major markets with its own sales and service branches or qualified partners. Customers include companies from tool manufacturing, the automotive industry and its suppliers, general mechanical engineering, the aerospace industry, energy technology, and contract manufacturing.

What you can achieve with us:

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance work at the customer’s site
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Install new machines including measuring the machine geometry
• Conduct service training for customer employees
• Assist in assembling new machines in internal production

What we expect from you:

• Apprenticeship as a polymechanic and good English skills
• Experience in operating machine controls
• Knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• A good portion of willingness to travel
