Job Description

• Define the optimal investment strategy per site, market segment, and product family for injection moulding machines (IMM), dispensing systems, and all associated peripheral equipment.
  --> Consideration of sustainability issues: reduction of energy consumption
• Support procurement activities by creating equipment specifications and technically evaluating offers for injection moulding equipment.
• Ensure global synergies for investments, service contracts and maintenance, spare parts, and other consumables.
• Expert in innovation & technology development in the field of injection moulding equipment.
• Contribute to qualification strategies (equipment and processes)
• Harmonise global process standards that enable best practices while simultaneously considering site-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with tool management and product design teams: ensure that the DFM complexity matches the capabilities of the target site.
• Support sites in achieving OEE targets and in technical challenges
• Employee qualification:
  --> Create and maintain a competency matrix for the injection moulding process teams and develop training plans for identified skill gaps.
  --> Train employees to close skill gaps

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in thermoplastic injection moulding
• In-depth knowledge of process and machine technology
• Project experience, lateral leadership experience
• Training as a plastics technologist and professional further education
• German C1 / English C1
• 50% willingness to travel
