Teaching position for guitar 15%The Kantonsschule Zürcher Oberland (KZO) in Wetzikon is a vibrant school that values an open culture, joint commitment, and an inspiring learning environment. It currently runs a lower secondary level (9th/10th school year) and all Zurich Matura profiles across 59 classes. With around 1300 students, 200 teachers, and 40 staff in administration and operations, KZO is one of the large grammar schools in the canton.
For the subject of guitar, we are seeking a teaching appointee starting from the autumn semester 2026/27 (18 August 2026). The teaching load comprises approximately 4 lessons. The appointment is made according to the regulations for secondary and vocational school teachers as a teaching appointee for at least one semester.
You hold a master’s degree in music education or a teaching diploma for guitar, or an equivalent diploma for teaching at grammar schools according to MAR. You have experience teaching young people (classical, western, and electric guitar) and possess a broad interest in various musical styles.
