The Public Prosecutor's Office See / Oberland conducts criminal investigations against adults in the districts of Hinwil, Meilen, Pfäffikon and Uster.

From 1 December 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking to complement our team in Uster with your support as Head of Department Business Control/Logistics (80-100%).

Job Description
As Head of Department Business Control and Logistics at the Public Prosecutor's Office See / Oberland, you are responsible for the functioning and further development of the central administration of the office. You lead a team of about four people and are part of the management.
The varied, interesting range of tasks includes the following:

• Management of Business Control/Logistics with about 4 employees
• Electronic recording and completion of prosecutorial cases
• Control of completed files and monitoring of legal force
• Participation in projects
• Handling general administrative tasks as well as advising/supporting case handlers in office-technical matters
• Processing of physical and electronic incoming mail
• Management of the archive
• Various organisational and administrative tasks (material management etc.)

Requirements
You have a solid commercial education as well as leadership and project experience, which you have preferably demonstrated in administration. Your personal strengths include independent, efficient, precise and reliable work, motivating employees, good communication skills and a participative leadership style.

We offer
You will lead a varied, demanding and responsible role with leadership function in a lively operation with around 65 employees. The terms of employment are based on cantonal personnel law.
