The Swiss Meat Trade Association SFF is the central industry and professional organisation of the Swiss meat industry. It represents the interests of its members and the butchery trade vis-à-vis politics, authorities, social partners and the public.
From 1 March 2027 or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed, communicative and independent personality as a junior recruiter. The role is strongly field-oriented and will take you across Switzerland to training companies, schools, career fairs and other youth activities.
Junior Recruiter (50%) (m/f)
Main tasks
• Recruiting and promoting young people, career changers and other target groups for the professions of the Swiss meat industry
• Organising and supporting appearances at career fairs, information events and other youth and junior events
• Building and maintaining contacts with schools, young people, parents, career advisors and other relevant network partners
• Advising and supporting companies on vocational training issues and in recruiting apprentices
• Collaborating with regional associations on activities to promote young talent
• Managing and further developing tools and measures for youth recruitment
• Creating and publishing social media posts in collaboration with the communications department
Requirements
• Completed professional examination as a meat industry manager or food technologist
• Enjoy working with young people and inspiring people about a profession
• Strong communication and networking skills
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working
• Confident appearance as well as high service and customer orientation
• Flexibility for nationwide field assignments as well as occasional evening and weekend work at events
• Good user knowledge of MS Office programmes
• Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
Advantages
• Further training in vocational education, counselling, sales or marketing
• Experience in youth promotion or vocational education
• Knowledge of the Swiss meat industry and its vocational training
• Experience with social media and digital communication channels
• Existing network in the industry or educational environment
• French and/or Italian skills in spoken and written form
