Your role
As Assistant Manager / Manager in the Audit & Assurance Financial Services – Banking & Asset Management area in Bern or Zurich, you are responsible for the following tasks:
- Technical responsibility for accounting and regulatory audits for national and international banks and other companies active in financial services including FinTech (OR, IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER)
- Conducting internal audits as well as special audits according to ISAE 3402 and PS 950
- Carrying out and supporting consulting mandates in the area of control functions (compliance and risk management), finance transformation or project management at financial sector companies
- Supporting the further development of our audit tools and conducting internal training sessions
- Leading the project team on site including coaching, target setting and achievement
- Active role in initiatives to further develop our services and expand the Banking & Asset Management team
Your profile
We are looking for a motivated individual who is ready to invest and develop further. To fulfil these tasks with joy and success:
- You have 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and regulatory audits of FINMA-regulated institutions (banks and/or asset managers)
- You have completed (or are close to completing) training as a Swiss Certified Public Accountant
- You are motivated and interested in advancing your career in a leading role in auditing and consulting in an innovative and fast-growing environment
- Experience in consulting mandates (risk management, internal control system, compliance, etc.), finance transformation or project management is an advantage
- Fluent in German and English, French is a plus
- Experience in leading a team and developing business activities is an advantage
