Medical Practice Assistant

Profile

Medical practice assistants are the collaborators of the doctor. They independently handle certain administrative tasks, diagnostic techniques and, on medical instruction, also therapeutic tasks. Their field of activity includes work in the medical practice, office, laboratory and radiology.

At the Locarno Regional Hospital, the position of medical practice assistant can be carried out either within a medical secretariat or within the nursing service.

Necessary requirements

• Federal certificate of capacity as a medical practice assistant
• Good knowledge of the Italian language, spoken and written

Desirable requirements

• Knowledge of another national language (German or French)
