**Salary:** CHF 4000-4500 NETT depending on Experience.
About Us
We're opening a new restaurant in Switzerland and are looking for a passionate, experienced Sushi Chef to join our founding team. This is a great opportunity to help shape the kitchen, menu, and culture of a brand-new establishment from day one.
The Role

We're looking for a skilled Sushi Chef to prepare high-quality sushi, sashimi, and Japanese dishes to a consistently excellent standard, while helping maintain a clean, efficient, and well-organized kitchen.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and rolls to a professional standard
• Source and manage fresh, high-quality ingredients
• Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards
• Manage inventory and minimize waste
• Train and support junior kitchen staff (as the team grows)
• Contribute ideas to menu development
• Work efficiently under pressure during service
  

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef (ideally 3+ years), including in high-end or fast-paced restaurants
• Strong knife skills and deep knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi techniques
• Excellent food presentation and attention to detail
• Sound knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
• Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid work permit / eligibility to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA passport or valid Swiss work visa required)
• English ,German,language skills are a plus
