The AR Hospital Network
The Appenzell Ausserrhoden Hospital Network, with the Herisau Acute Hospital and the AR Psychiatric Centre in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
For our modern emergency department, we are seeking a Certified Emergency Care Specialist NDS immediately or by arrangement, for a workload of 50-100%.
We are very open to flexible employment models, which we can agree upon in a personal discussion.
Your tasks
- You are jointly responsible for the triage of patients with regard to risk management
- You independently and under delegation of the medical service ensure the initial assessment, admission, diagnostics, therapy, as well as the care and support of emergency patients for both simple and complex admission and care situations
- Active participation in the further development of our interdisciplinary emergency department
- Participation in working groups for quality assurance and promotion
Your profile
- Completed training as a Certified Emergency Care Specialist NDS or as a health and nursing professional
- Alternatively, you have specialist further training in intensive and emergency care
- Flexible, positive and motivated personality
- Team-oriented and patient-focused attitude
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
