Strategic Buyer – Automotive (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for the strategic procurement of raw materials considering cost-effectiveness, quality and supply security
• Development, evaluation and management of a sustainable and efficient supplier portfolio
• Conducting price and contract negotiations as well as concluding procurement-relevant agreements
• Identification and assessment of procurement risks and derivation of appropriate measures
• Optimisation of purchasing processes and co-design of projects along the entire supply chain
• Conducting supplier evaluations and maintaining relevant purchasing and supplier master data

Your Profile

• Completed studies in business administration or further training as a technical businesswoman/businessman with further training at HF/FH level
• At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably in purchasing or a comparable environment
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Confident handling of MS Office, ideally complemented by SAP knowledge as well as experience in project participation or project management is an advantage
• Flexible, committed personality with drive, a structured way of working and pronounced solution orientation
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business (approx. 3–4 weeks per year)
