Polymechanic – CNC Manufacturing for a 6-Month Assignment in an International Environment
Tasks
- Precise production of mechanical components according to technical drawings and 3D models
- Adjusting and creating CNC programmes for efficient manufacturing
- Setting up and operating CNC machines including preparation of tools and operating materials
- Inspection of manufactured parts with measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specified tolerances
- Performing maintenance and rectifying minor mechanical faults on production machines
Requirements
- Completed training as a Polymechanic EFZ with experience in CNC turning and milling
- Confident handling of CAM software and CNC controls such as Heidenhain, Fanuc or Siemens
- Solid knowledge in reading technical drawings and using measuring instruments
- High personal responsibility, quality awareness and a structured, reliable working method
- Good PC skills, ability to work in a team and openness to new technologies such as automation and digitalisation
