As a member of Quality Control QC Arxada in Visp, Switzerland you are responsible, in compliance with quality and safety guidelines, for providing in-process analytics, training shift staff, and performing release analytics of assigned products.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Independent scheduling, co-responsibility for performing release analytics (including troubleshooting) and documentation of results and their evaluation
• Working according to internal, ISO, and other quality guidelines
• Implementation of analytical methods, focusing on GC/HPLC and titration
• Maintenance of QC plans in LIMS
• Participation in innovation and optimization projects for continuous improvement of processes and workflows in quality control
• Taking on project work in close contact with production and other interfaces

Qualifications and experience:

• High standards to strengthen the safety culture
• Laboratory technician training EFZ (specializing in chemistry) or a comparable qualification
• Experience in quality control
• You are flexible, independent, and possess good communication and teamwork skills as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Good German skills are required, basic knowledge of English is an advantage
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an affinity for software-based laboratory systems
