The AHV branch office Thun is an external office of the compensation fund of the canton of Bern (AKB) and assists in the customer-oriented and efficient implementation of the social insurances of the 1st pillar.
For the area of AHV benefits and supplementary benefits (EL) to AHV/IV, we are looking for a
Your tasks:
- Telephone and personal advice and support of customers on various social insurance matters
- Processing in the area of AHV and supplementary benefits, such as receiving and checking EL new registrations and revisions, requesting missing documents, electronic pre-entry and creation of a calculation proposal with the NIL+ benefits application for the AKB
- Accompanying and supporting our apprentices during their training
- General administrative tasks
You bring with you:
- Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
- Ideally experience in the field of social insurances – or the motivation to work in this meaningful area
- Professional certificate for tasks at Bernese AHV branch offices is a plus but not a must
- Enjoyment of personal customer contact as well as a service-oriented attitude
- An independent, conscientious way of working and confidential handling of sensitive data
- A positive team spirit and a solution-oriented mindset
- Good knowledge of MS Office and confident use of digital communication tools
