About the job

The Frankental Residential Centre offers a home to 41 people with neurological disorders, brain injuries, as well as cognitive and/or physical impairments and/or psychosocial abnormalities.

To complement our team, we are looking for a committed individual from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement as

Chef / Cook EFZ (100%)

Your area of responsibility

• Daily preparation of seasonal meals including special diets (approx. 80 people) in compliance with HACCP guidelines
• Setting up and clearing the lunch buffet (30 - 40 people) as well as serving at midday
• Cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of work equipment and infrastructure in the kitchen and common room
• Ordering, receiving goods and storage of food and materials
• Distribution of internal food orders to residential groups and employment and activation
• Weekend duty with responsibility for the preparation and distribution of meals
• Preparation of catering for events
• Assistance in the guidance and supervision of our apprentice

Your personality

• Completed training as a Chef / Cook EFZ
• At least three years of experience in classic gastronomy
• Experience in the area of diet kitchen is an advantage
• Advantageous: recognised vocational trainer certificate (trainer course) or willingness to complete it
• Team-oriented and quality-conscious working style
• Humorous, empathetic and proactive personality
• Flexibility including weekend duties
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
